The East Midlands Poetry Library is putting together a catalogue of East Midlands poets and their work.
Are there poets you know of who should be on the list? Can you and others in your network add them to the list?
The library is also aware that Black, Asian and ethnic minority poets are under-represented in how the literary landscape in the East Midlands is imagined.
Do you know any Black, Asian and ethnic minority poets who should be on the list?

What interested individuals, groups and organisations can do
Why the East Midlands matters
The East Midlands consists of the counties: Derbysire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Nottinghamshire, and Rutland; the major urban centres, Derby, Leicester, Lincoln, Mansfield, Northampton, and Nottingham; the towns, Boston, Chesterfield, Corby, Grantham, Hinckley, Kettering, Loughborough, Newark-on-Trent, Skegness, Wellingborough, and more.
The region has rich and diverse literatures; an estimated population of 4.8 million and is the 8th most populous region in the UK; 18 further education colleges, 9 universities, and around 180,000 students in secondary schools; and a very large potential audience the poetry library could reach.
